These Boots Are Gonna Walk All Over You.

Hello, my fellow bargain hunters and penny pinchers. With winter coming up soon, I thought I'd go and purchase me some boots to keep my toes warm this cold winter season. And if any of you know about the Midwest, we get snow by the feet. Speaking of feet, no pun intended, here is a hot bargain I've found, Seychelles "Ms. Fix-It" Boots.

If you are looking for a bargain, I suggest you go to Plato's Closet. You never know what you'll find there. I walked in the store just to check it out and I had no intention of making a purchase, but when I came across these Seychelle's Leather boots, which were staring at me in the face with a bright tag saying "BUY ME!" for only $20, which by the way retails at $180, I had to snatch them. For those who have not heard of Plato's Closet, it is a quite unique store. Its a recycling retail store that specialize in clothes for the young and hip. So for those who are looking for a bargain or just simply want to donate your clothes in exchange for cash, go to Plato's Closet. Keep in mind, since it is a recycling retail store, every store will carry different inventory. I think it makes it more interesting to go check out other stores. But if you get a chance to check it out, just look around and you'll will be amazed to see what you will find.  Hey, with the economy going through recession, why not save a couple dollars and look fly at the same time.  So for you fashion savvy peeps, shop smart and go check it out. =)

Happy Halloween.

I hope everyone had a great time Trick-Or-Treating. I had a fun filled day with my close friends and family. Although I wasn't able to go out and do the whole dress up thing, I still enjoyed looking at everyones costumes that evening. I even helped pick out a Gangsta get-up for my girl Ness. We had a good time shopping around Clark Ave. When you get a chance, stop by that area. Make sure you hit up Hollywood Mirrors. You will find some really interesting things there. That, I promise. Along the way, I picked up a $6 cabby hat. My girl got some hot boots at Target for $32 and I must say, she did look Gangsta.

Last night in Chicago there were some interesting and creative costumes. If I only had my camera with me. But If I were to give out award for the most original it would go to the 2 Unknown Chicagoans who were ordering food at The Sultan's Market dressed up as Nintendo Wii nun chuck controllers. Good job on the costume.

Although I wasn't dressed up for the festivities, I still had a good time. Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween.
